I'm trying to install a set of Pypes shorty headers on an '01 GT. This thing is baffling me. Anybody have any experience with header swaps?

I know its a little late, but have you tried going from the bottom? And sometimes it helps to drop them in long ways and then turn them to the correct position. My shorties actually went in from the bottom on the driver and the passenger went in on the top after removing some things.
